Senior Airman Danny Ray Sanchez was a Combat Controller assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Florida.

On September 16, 2010, while deployed to Afghanistan, Danny was killed in action during a firefight with insurgent forces in Uruzgan Province. 

Danny served in one of the most demanding communities in the United States military, where courage, commitment, and selfless service are not simply words. They are a way of life. He gave everything for his country and for the teammates beside him.

His life ended in combat, but his story did not.

This design was created in coordination with his mother and @reaper.ink.designs to remember Danny, honor the sacrifice he made, and make sure his name continues to have an impact long after his final mission.

50% of the proceeds from this collection will be donated to the SrA Danny Ray Sanchez Foundation. The foundation provides scholarships in Danny's name to graduating seniors at Montwood High School in El Paso, Texas, where Danny attended school.

Danny gave his life serving his country. Through these scholarships, his legacy continues by helping young people from his own community take the next step toward their future.
